A Short History of Activated Image

After a break between September 2003 and June 2004, during which time artistic director Adam Barnard was on a bursary at London's Orange Tree Theatre, the company regrouped, and was joined by producer Miranda Curnew.

We most staged the UK premiere of Patience, a new play by Canadian writer Jason Sherman, at the Finborough Theatre. The production was hailed in the press as "a fringe triumph".

Most recently we remounted our 2001 hit Amy Evans' Strike to open the new Courtyard @ Covent Garden theatre.

Activated Image has achieved a total of seven productions with consistently good reviews, a reputation for style, innovation and professionalism, and the beginnings of a following. Members are currently on a break pursuing other projects but expect a new production in 2007... watch this space!
