Activated Image (1998-2005): a theatre company dedicated to innovation, collaboration and ensemble playing. Under artistic director Adam Barnard, Activated Image was known for adventurous new drama "that forces you to look from a shocking, fresh perspective" (Scotsman).

Activated Image's 7 productions included Fringe First Award-nominated Amy Evans' Strike, the UK premiere of Jason Sherman's Patience, and acclaimed devised play The Principle of Motion.

The company ceased operating in 2005. However several collaborative partnerships begun within Activated Image continue in members' freelance projects. This site remains an archive of the work of this "truly outstanding young theatre company" (Metro Life)
