Bennet
Summers is a freelance designer and website developer based
in London. Since graduating from New College, Oxford in 2002
he has been working for OC&C Strategy Consultants.
His
experience in Oxford University drama is extensive, having produced
the world premiere of Joe Orton's Fred & Madge (directed
by James Methven) and Stephen Sondheim's Sweeney Todd at the
Oxford Playhouse for OUDS, for which he was also Membership
Secretary (during a year which saw a threefold expansion in
membership and the creation of ouds.org).
He
has also designed publicity for Sweeney Todd, Cabaret, Company,
Wreck the Airline Barrier, Hansel and Gretel, Much Ado About
Nothing, Closer Than Ever, Entertaining Mr. Sloane, Honk!, and
I Love You You're Perfect Now Change. For Activated Image, he
designed the publicity for Amy Evans' Strike (2001 Fringe and
again for 2005 London production) and The Straight Man (2002
Fringe), since when he has designed, redesigned and maintained
the www.activated.co.uk website.
