Vicki Fifield graduated from
the Birmingham Institute of Art and Design with a BA in Theatre
Design. She gained a first round award in the Linbury Prize and
the 'Sir Barry Vincent Jackson Scholarship Award' which enabled
her to complete an M.A in Scenography from which she graduated
in 2001. Since then she has designed set and costume for a number
of productions whilst also working extensively for the Royal National
Theatre's scenic departments.
For Activated Image she designed
The Principle of Motion, and is now the company's resident designer.
Other design work includes:
Frankenstein (touring and Riverside Studios), Peace by Aristophones
(The Cockpit and touring), The Learned Ladies (Tristan Bates Theatre),
Directors Showcase: Lunch by Steven Berkoff, Capital by Van Badham,
Office by Kate Hoffower, When a Man Knows by Alan Richardson (Kings
Head, Islington).
Vicki is also a member of the
Genesis Project at the Young Vic.
She lives in East London.
