James Copp
- Sloane
James is in his first year studying French and Spanish at Magdalen
College. In Oxford he has appeared as Frank in The Browning Version
(BT), as Rudy the dancing boy in Cabaret (Playhouse) and as Melchior
in Spring Awakening (Playhouse). Out of Oxford he has trained and
performed with the National Youth Theatre and the National Youth Music
Theatre and played a variety of roles in school productions.
Susan Hitch

Susan teaches English Language and Literature at Magdalen College.
She has recently played Lady Bracknell in The Importance of Being Earnest
and Fraulein Schneider in Cabaret at the Oxford Playhouse
and appeared in Alan Bennett's Soldiering On in the Burton Taylor
Theatre.
James Methven
- Ed
James teaches the modern end of English Language and Literature at
Oriel College, where he is Dean. His most recent acting credit was as
Herr Schulz in Cabaret at the Oxford Playhouse. His most recent
directing credit was John Bohannon's The Myth of Prometheus at
the OFS. Over the years he has directed at the Playhouse twice (including
the world premiere of Orton's Fred and Madge), four times at the
OFS, and twice at the BT; acting credits include Hamlet and Oedipus.
Ilan Goodman
- Kemp
Ilan is a first
year studying Psychology and Philosophy. In Oxford he has previously appeared
in Hansel and Gretel (OFS) and Spring Awakening (Playhouse).
Before university Ilan appeared in numerous school productions including
The Physicists (as Mobius), The Boys from Syracuse (Dromio)
and The Fantasticks (Huckleberry). Productions at the Edinburgh
festival include Someone Who'll Watch Over Me (Adam), The Imbecile
(Luca) and Inside the Island (Andy). In 4th week Ilan will be playing
Ridley and Woodson in Play the Man and at the end of this term
he will make his directorial debut with Louis de Berniere's Sunday
Morning at the Centre of the World at the BT.
