BIOGRAPHIES

Hannah Madsen - Producer
Hannah is a second year geography student from Hertford. She adapted, directed and designed set for Hansel and Gretel (OFS HT ’01). She has marketed and done design for Dracula (OFS MT ’01), and Copacabana (OFS HT '02) and will be for And Then There Were None (OFS TT '02), West Side Story (PH MT '02) and The Picture of Dorian Gray (PH MT '02).

Imogen Russell-Williams - Co-Director
Imogen has directed Anouilh’s Antigone (playing the lead role), Twelve Angry Men and co-directed Stoppard’s Travesties. She has also been ASM with the Barnes Drama Company. Since arriving in Oxford she has co-directed the Cuppers finalist If You’re Glad, I’ll Be Frank and played the Evil Stepmother in Hansel and Gretel at the OFS.
Lizzy Bossom - Production Manager
Lizzy is a first year biologist at Magdalen College. She found morning lectures, afternoon rat dissections and evenings spent lighting plays so fulfilling last term that this term she has decided to branch out into production management as a new challenge. This is the fifth play Lizzy has worked on since arriving at Oxford.
  Charlotte Sacher - Set Design
Charlotte is a first year history student at Magdalen. Before coming to Oxford, she was the set designer for a production of Tom Stoppard's Travesties, a play also directed by the wonderful Imogen Russell-Williams. She decided to continue set design at university having attended art school in London last year. Her first small step into the Oxford drama scene was for Cabaret at the Playhouse, when she was assistant set designer.
  Gordon Nimmo-Smith - Lighting Designer
Gordon is a first year chemist at Wadham. In Oxford, Gordon has been sound op for Amadeus (OFS), Much Ado About Nothing and Cabaret (Playhouse) and sound designed Medea and Spring Awakening (also Playhouse), as well as production managing and assisting with the lighting design for Salome (OFS). He has just taken over as technical manager of the Moser theatre at Wadham college, where he lit Muswell Hill (OUDS New Writing Festival). This play got through to the finals of the National Student Drama Festival which was held in Scarborough over the Easter vacation. As well as lighting Muswell Hill Gordon also worked on the festival's technical crew.
  Keren White - Production Assistant
Keren is in her third year at Hertford College, in the throws of the second year of Archaeology and Anthropology, having read English for a year before changing course. Keren launched her Oxford drama career directing for the fresher's intercollegiate competition. Since then she has acted, stage-managed and assistant produced for various productions over the last two years, and most recently produced Medea at the Playhouse last term.
  Andrew Leveson - Marketing Manager
Andrew is a 1st year classicist at Merton. He has acted in The Browning Verson (BT) and Spring Awakening (Playhouse), and directed Caryl Chuchill’s This is a Chair (Cuppers) and Pinter’s Silence (BT) and was also 2nd Assistant Director on Spring Awakening. He is currently co-directing the eagerly awaited production of Mamet’s Secual Perversity in Chicago at the BT in 2nd week.
Bennet Summers - Publicity Designer
Bennet is a 4th year at New College reading Maths. This is his tenth outing as publicity designer, having previously worked on Sweeney Todd (which he also produced), Much Ado about Nothing, Cabaret, Company, Wreck the Airline Barrier, Monologues, Hansel and Gretel, Closer Than Ever, Amy Evans' Strike, and Latin! (the last two for activated image theatre). He also produced the world premiere of Orton's Fred and Madge for OUDS at the Oxford Playhouse.
